Surveillance is the process of close observation, which might or might not include continuous active monitoring. Typically, a structure will have multiple security cameras which feed to a recording system (DVR) and displayed on monitors often located in a security office or kiosk. If live monitoring is required, which is an active process of a person or people watching the video feed as it happens live, we provide services for that feature or can establish your own monitoring arrangement. We recommend that all security camera systems have at least one monitor, if not several monitors, in the building of where the cameras are or even a security room for that purpose.
