Hotels and multi dwelling units (apartments and dorms) can have a variety of technology needs depending on the scale of the building and features desired in the building. These needs could be as simple as systems and lighting controls or as complex as an interactive system of audio, video, digital signage, and other interactive or automated systems. In a dorm or off campus student housing, entertainment and leisure activities are much more extensive than in a general apartment complex in order to provide a more attractive facility to live at. Even general apartments will sometimes have a clubhouse or other common facilities for residents to use that often can include resident office facilities, computer lab, lounging areas, and the like. These areas include entertainment systems as well as a network.
Hotels are a similar facility as an apartment complex except that the use of it by a person is very short term. Customers use hotels for an in travel stop or as a temporary “residence” while on vacation or attending a meeting, convention, or an event. Hotels strive to provide amenities that customers find attractive. Such amenities often include a restaurant that can often have audio and video systems, meeting rooms or convention facilities that especially contain technology and network, and lounging areas for relaxation and entertainment also including audio and video. Access control, security, fire alarm systems, and video systems are also quite commonly used.
Hi-Fidelity can design, install, and service what you need to make your facility attractive to residents or customers.
